«Romashkovo Farm» is a hotel and a health-improving complex, which is situated in the nearest Moscow Region. Besides, this complex is a part of the cultural project, called “Russian Metochion”.
The name of the complex is wholly justified by its architecture, which reflects the best traditions of the Russian art of building and really copies the look of an ancient Russian farm of XVI-XVIII century. All the buildings which are the parts of the whole suit, are made of natural materials which are characteristic for that period: white stone and Siberian larch.
Being an ethnic museum right under the sky “Romashkovo Farm” also provides the widest range of up-to-date services. Ancient-styled architecture seamlessly perform a hotel, a restaurant with Russian, Italian and Japanese cuisine, SPA-centre which unites the leading technologies and the best traditions of different cultures and nations of the world.
The union of the Russian art of building and modern culture with all the possible spheres of services is the first level of a very big project. Its purpose is to reconstruct the national traditions. In the nearest future in “Romashkovo Farm” there will be not only a hotel, a restaurant and a SPA-centre, but a farmer’s market, baths, children playground and a sport ground, a «Russian House», where conferences, seminars and trainings will take place also.
A Russian Stove situated right out-of-doors will become one of the main sights: at all times the stove in Russia was a symbol of power and energy, central place of any house for all the family to gather around it.
